The Millennial Generation stands on the brink of greatness.  There have been a ton of articles, a ton of stories, and a ton of media attention focused on how this generation has all the capacity to make huge changes in the world.  We have the communication abilities, the heart, the perspective.  Everything is right out in front of us.  The needs.  The challenges.  The opportunities.  Everything is right out in front of the Millennial Generation, and the world is waiting for us to respond.

So with all the praise that is heaped upon the Millennial Generation, I would like to temper it with some reality.  This is our responsibility. We not only have a challenge and an opportunity in front of us, but we have a responsibility.  It is our responsibility to change the world.  It is our responsibility to make things better for everyone living in the world.  It is our responsibility to fix the world and make it a better place.  It is our responsibility to our time and place in life.  Amidst all of the praise and adulation and blue skies and high hopes – we must remember that we have a responsibility.
